The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations Juvenile Justice Improvement Project (JJIP) is a program to divert non-violent juvenile offenders into culturally relevant treatment. This project works directly with tribal officials, social workers, parents and juvenile programs among the seven governing tribes offering treatment and follow-up services for youth experiencing alcohol and drug (AOD) abuse. Native American youth age 13-17 with AOD abuse will be the targeted population for participation in the JJIP.
