Packing List

PATIENTS CANNOT HAVE MONEY HERE. IF A PATIENT NEEDS EXTRA NECESSITIES, THE PARENTS OR GUARDIANS NEED TO MAIL THE ITEMS, NOT MONEY. Thank you.

Items patients need to bring with them when they come into treatment:

• Clothing, appropriate to the weather
• Tee-shirts and shorts for working out
• Swimming suit (Indoor pools in the winter)
• Warm coat / jacket
• Outside winter hat
• Mittens / gloves
• Socks
• Underwear
• Appropriate night time sleepwear
• Slippers
• Tennis shoes for gym
• Shoes
• Boots for outside winter / fall activities

Personal Hygiene Items to include (Please bring enough to last eight weeks):

• toothpaste
• toothbrush
• comb / brush
• deodorant
• lotion
• feminine hygiene products
• curling irons / hair dryers
• make-up (glass containers will be checked in and out)
• shampoo / conditioner
• soap

Contraband List

Personal items will be searched and inventoried upon admission. Some personal hygiene products are allowed and will be kept in individual bins to be checked in and out at certain times of the day.

Please have the patient bring enough hygiene products to last throughout treatment. Please do not send the patient any money or send money with them to purchase these products later. Please have everything he / she will need with them when they come. Thank you.

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY TIME

• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, matches and lighters will be destroyed
• Aerosol cans, mouthwash with alcohol
• Tapes other than treatment and pow-wow
• Cameras, radios, televisions, walkmans, stereos, game boys, CD's, and tapes
• (pow-wow and relaxation tapes are allowed).
• Food, gum and candy
• Needles, tacks, pins, staples, metal cans, rope etc.
• Ink pens, glue, toxic marker pens, calligraphy pens, bottled ink
• Glass items including foundation bottles and perfume and cologne, mirrors
• Condoms
• Razor blades, non-electric razors
• Clothing, pictures, books, emblems, jewelry or other items illegal, anti-social, violent, occultic, sexual, ripped up, or pro-drug themes will not be permitted.
• Seductive clothing or personal items.

CHECK OUT ITEMS

• Alcohol containing grooming items (hairspray, mousse, spray gel, make-up, aftershave)
• Curling irons, hairdryers, crimping irons, etc.
• Tweezers, nail clippers, nail file, electric razors
• Iron and ironing board
• Compact cases with mirrors
• Nail polish and polish remover
