Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations

Path to Recovery

The Healing Lodge is a 25-bed residential chemical dependency treatment center, funded by Indian Health Service and the State of Washington. This dual funding source allows The Healing Lodge to serve all adolescent populations, but primarily the service population is Native American. We serve male and female patients ages 13-17 years old for a 60-90 day treatment program. Our focus is directed to the Native American adolescent population to provide inpatient treatment and establish aftercare planning for the patients and their families. We provide family therapy for families who visit their child during the patient's stay. The Healing Lodge staff use a variety of treatment strategies appropriate for youth but a central theme for treatment remains the principals of the 12-step recovery program, cognitive approaches and behavioral management. Patients will be encouraged to participate in all activities including culturally based educational and recreational activities. The Healing Lodge is a nicotine-free facility and follows the guidelines set forth in the Washington State Minors and Tobacco regulations. The Healing Lodge Board of Directors and its staff are committed to the maintenance of quality care and a healthy treatment environment for our patients and their families.
